What I Do
Content strategy, SEO, writing, and editing are my areas of expertise. I focus on long-form content, including case studies, blog posts, and guides.
Ideally, I work closely with my clients to understand their brand, goals, and current SEO strategy. My writing fits snuggly within what you aim to accomplish.

Writing & Editing
Content writing is my jam. Long-form articles, case studies, guides, and more all fall within my wheelhouse.
Over the years, I’ve developed a careful research process that supports me while writing on topics that are both new and familiar to me. I synthesize the information and then find a fresh narrative route so a reader feels like they're rediscovering a well-trodden topic.

Depending on the needs of the content, I conduct SME interviews. I prefer to use an editorial brief created by my client or myself. All the relevant SEO, branding, audience, and internal linking information lives here. It helps ensure I accomplish everything you need a piece of content to do.

As an editor, I get to comb through writing, fine-tuning sentences and offering suggestions to strengthen the writer's argument. I love discovering how small changes in language or sentence structure can boost a piece of writing. My eyes rarely miss the sneakiest of errors.
I live and work on both sides of the writer-editor relationship, so I understand the importance of maintaining a writer's voice and intent.

Content strategy & SEO
Here and there, I'll team up with a client to fine-tune their content strategy. I help the internal team with SEO research, discover content opportunities, and develop thorough briefs for writers.

I most enjoy working with clients who have a content strategy direction in mind but would like help with the execution. I've also assisted content teams with auditing and refreshing their content library. The end goal: create a comprehensive network of content that carefully guides readers through their discovery journey.

Thought leadership
Through SME interviews and careful industry research, I craft thought leadership content that helps position your company as a notable and reliable voice in your industry. I know how to operate behind the scenes to gather crucial insights from your team.

Depending on the topic, industry, and your preference, I will send a list of questions via email or request a 30-minute live conversation. If I need clarification or further information after the initial interview, I will email additional questions.

I often ask that an SME (or two) read through the article before it goes through the standard editing process. I pride myself on getting it right. I want your input to ensure I've successfully captured your voice, tone, and message.
